Polish Hussar Half Armour

Authentic recreation of this beautiful half armour from the 16th century. The Polish Winged Hussars were an elite cavalry unit of the Polish Army in the 16th Century. Although the armour might look like a ceremonial suit, they were infact practical fighting armours and saw several major engagements during the first half of the 16th century. This suit has been exclusively moulded from a suit on display at the Imperial War Museum in London, created by master armourer Nigel Carren. the whole suit is made from tough, lightweight polyurethane making it perfect for re-inacting and LARP / SCA (live acton role playing), yet retains the look and feel of a museum quality replica.
